James W. McCormack, President and Broker/Owner of Help-U-Sell Edge Real Estate, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, a member of the Bucks County Association of Realtors, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Real Estate CyberSpace Society, the Council of Residential Specialists and the Better Business Bureau. Jim believes in giving back to the community, therefore, he is involved with local charitable organizations.
Jim received his original real estate license training at the Temple University Real Estate Institute at the Center City Campus. Jim received his real estate salesperson license in 1997 and he has been handling the sale of residential and commercial properties full-time since January 1999. From January 1999 through June 2001, Jim was employed in the Philadelphia office of the commercial real estate firm Marcus & Millichap. Jim founded JWM Realty in 2001 because of his desire to provide better and more personalized service to his clients. In 2003, Jim affiliated JWM Realty with Help-U-Sell Real Estate and renamed the firm Help-U-Sell Edge Real Estate. The name change became official in December 2003. Throughout this entire time, Jim continued his real estate education at Schlicher Kratz Real Estate Institute. After completing his real estate broker education, Jim obtained his real estate broker license in February 2004.
Jim is a certified Real Estate CyberSpace Specialist (RECS) via the Real Estate CyberSpace Society and a certified e-PRO via the National Association of REALTORS due to his desire to fully utilize the internet to market his clients' homes since the internet is now the #1 way buyers search for homes. Also, the internet is quickly proving to be much more effective than traditional methods such as print advertising. Jim is currently pursuing the CRS designation from the Council of Residential Specialists.
As a full-time real estate professional, Jim specializes in helping people buy and sell real estate in and around Montgomery County Pennsylvania, Bucks County Pennsylvania and Lehigh County (aka the Lehigh Valley) Pennsylvania.
Jim and his wife lived in North Wales Pennsylvania (Montgomery Township) for over 5 years. In 2005, they moved to Quakertown, PA.

A sale of a house is just a sale, right? Not necessarily. If you are selling your house to your children or transferring title outside the open market, then the transaction may be characterized as "not at arm's length".
